Services Provided

Princeton Cognitive Therapy provides cognitive-behavioral therapy for children, adolescents and adults.

The following clinical services are offered:

  • Individual Therapy for Children, Adolescents and Adults
  • Family Therapy
  • Parenting Support and Skills Training In Behavior Modification
  • School Consultation
  • Relaxation/Mindfulness Training

Therapy begins with an initial evaluation. In addition to a careful clinical interview and assessment, well-researched clinical rating scales (questionnaires) may also be used to help assess the extent of anxiety, depression, obsessive-compulsive symptoms, other psychological factors. At the end of the evaluation process, I will give you feedback about my assessment of the problems you or your child are facing and discuss a recommended treatment plan. This treatment plan serves as a road-map towards achievement of your goals for therapy. As we work together, we will also re-evaluate the problem and make shifts in treatment strategies as needed to keep on track with your goals.

If medication may be indicated to provide symptom relief, I will coordinate care with your family doctor, psychiatrist or child's pediatrician or refer to a psychiatrist as needed. I have developed very positive relationships with many other reputable professionals in the local community (such as psychiatrists, pediatricians, guidance counselors and family physicians) which serves to help me provide the best quality of care.
